Blessing #1 Turns 8

How it happened, I really don't know.

                                                                Age 2.5                                                                   Age 8

I've heard the phrase many times before...time flies when you're having fun.

Well, we must have been having a BLAST these last eight years, because it truly seems impossible that the sweet angel that was the cause of our entrance into the whirlwind of parenthood is now halfway to her driver's license.

Our sweet second grader is nothing short of amazing.  She is such a light in our family.

Two big things happened during M's seventh year:
In July, she solidified her role in our family as the big sister when we welcomed home her "baby" brother.



And, in December, Melia made the best decision and invited Jesus into her heart.

For her birthday celebrations, we had family over for ice cream cake, took a couple of friends (and their mommies) to Lego Land in Kansas City, and then had our own little family of five celebration.

One thing is for sure, our sweet M is a HUGE blessing to our family.  We love her so much and are so thankful for her!
